The project for the Museum of the History of
Polish Jews is an architectural, interactive 3D visualization of
the future museum which will stand in Warsaw, Poland. The museum
was designed by Lahdelma & Mahlamäki Architects from Finland.
The project was published on a CD-ROM and is used as a fundraising
tool during various presentations about the future museum.
The application allows the viewer to control
the point of view of the camera and to switch between various camera
positions, for example, from aerial view to first person view. The
interface also allows the viewer to move through the virtual space
in a walk-through type of simulation.
You may download the interactive Virtual
Tour of the Museum. The download is 13.5 MB (zip file) and
is intended for Microsoft Windows operating systems only. The
latest 3D graphics card is recommended for the presentation to
work properly.
